Weaving
Weaving on the large weaving machines has been one of my favorite process to learn so far. So many measurements and steps to set up before the weaving starts is the longest part. Each part releases stress and as you see your pattern come along, it feels so fulfilling. It’s a process that I would love to use in the future in my designing.

Using a nylon stretch bathing suit fabric as the base will help the bathing suit be more comfortable and last longer.

Final project was to create yardage for a sewing project or to create a piece of art. I chose to create yardage to make woven bathing suits.
I used multiple color ways to have a few different bathing suits.
