Traditional Works

Behind every artist is a foundation and series or works that brought them to where they are. A series of paintings, drawings, sketches, sculptures, and whatever makes them feel whole. Welcome to the final pieces to complete the artist inside of me.

Artist studies - some of my favorite work to do as I find each detail and the difference in the hand of each artist to be so fascinating.

Burano

A collection of acrylic paintings done inspired by photos I took while traveling in Europe. Each of these paintings were from locations in Italy.

Cinque Terra

With a mixture of still lives, landscapes, colors, and black and whites, I love the versatile use of graphite and colored pencils. Easy to travel with and always reliable I love to explore drawing everyday items.

20 minute live fashion illustrations are some of my favorite ways to practice how prints, textures, shadows, and movements are found on fabrics. Chalks are my favorite material as they allow the view to interpret the drawings in their own ways.

These water colors are quick paintings of either inspiration from Monet or from a live landscape in Maui. The Maui water colors I hold very close to my heart as I grew up going to this exact spot with my grandparents to watch the humpback whales as they were migrating. When whale was spotted, jumped, or when it blows, the bell hanging on the tree would be rung for everyone to celebrate these activites together. The butterflies are always swarming these palm trees and the sail boats are flying by with a view of the other islands in the background.
